The 7 chakra sphere is composed of seven complementary stones that correspond to the 7 chakras:
- Amethyst, associated with the Crown chakra: Purple, amethyst belongs to the quartz family. It falls within the rhombohedral crystal system. It consists of silicon dioxide and is formed in magmatic rocks.
- Lapis lazuli, connected to the Frontal chakra: Blue with white streaks, lapis lazuli is a semi-precious stone. It belongs to the family of aluminium and sodium sulphur silicates. It contains lazurite, calcite, pyrite and sodalite. (Can be replaced by obsidian)
- Labradorite, aligned with the Solar Plexus and Heart chakras: Of the feldspar family, labradorite displays dark green tones and a metallic lustre. It is composed of sodium and calcium aluminosilicate. (Can be replaced by sodalite, lapis lazuli, turquoise or blue howlite)
- Black obsidian, corresponding to the Root chakra: lapis lazuli is from the group of aluminium and sodium sulphur silicates. Its dominant colour is azure-blue. (Can be replaced by aventurine, amazonite, jade or labradorite)
- Moonstone, acting on the Sacral and Frontal chakras: Composed of albite, it belongs to the group of feldspars. (Can be replaced by yellow jasper)
- Tiger’s eye, working on the Solar Plexus: Yellow to golden brown, tiger’s eye is from the quartzite group. It is made up of silicon dioxide. (Can be replaced by carnelian, sunstone or moonstone)
- Rose quartz, connected to the Heart chakra: A mineral species on its own right, quartz belongs to the silicate group. It is mainly composed of silicon dioxide. (Can be replaced by red jasper or brecciated jasper)
The 7 chakra sphere utilises all its energies to enter into vibration with all the chakras and provides all the virtues of the different stones.
